Brief description of works
New build single storey building, on existing site of St. Hild’s School, containing suite of learning spaces which can be flexibly reconfigured.
Coupled with high levels of technology, Space to Learn is an innovative learning environment designed to challenge conventional teaching methods. With a high degree of internal fit out the exterior of the building is as equally impressive with granite cladding to its four elevations.
Environmental features
Sustainability was also a key factor in the design with roof mounted photovoltaics and a wind turbine providing energy.
